Re: Building the Chopper
Greetings. Happy Fourth of July - for all the USA followers. Well, Got the fuel tank and the fenders flamed and gold. Took a couple of tries, first a couple of practice runs with a stencil and spraying with airbrush. But it did the job. Have attached a picture of all three of them with the flames ...

Re: Building the Chopper
Well, I figured out I cannot draw the flames as my drawing skills are ot able to do so, and I definately cannot airbrish them freehand. So the only other way I can think of is to make a stencil. The fuel tank is a whopping 50mm in length overall. Tried a couple different ways and they did not come ...

Building the Chopper
Greetings again. Once again time to get a bit crazy. I am going to try to build a 1/12 version of a Chopper Motorcycle that my son has. I think I should be able to do it.... but, I have said that before. Hope for the best.

Re: 1948 MG TC Entex 1/16
Hello Colin,
Yep, your wood grain decal. I love the look of them and since you told me about covering with the resin, I think the look makes it even better. Gives a bit of depth to it. Really reminds me of the older cars witht he real wood dashes and trim. Older cars had so much more style I think ...

Re: 1948 MG TC Entex 1/16
Hello again. Time to post a few pictures of the finished MG TC. Looking at it finshed reminded me of when I had my old sports cars and the fun I had driving around in them. Somwtimes I do wish that I still had one of them. But that is the way it goes, sometimes have to part with some of your toys ...

1948 MG TC Entex 1/16
Greetings. Just thought I would post a few pictures of the MG TC I am working on. Needed a little break from the Jaguars. This is one of the kits I bought some time ago, always liked the look of these cars since I was young. Sort of got hooked on the English sports cars when I was younger. My first ...

Re: Ed's Jaguar
Hello Pierre,
Sorry to be late in responding, yes, pictures of real car hinges. For me, was good to use as a "template" for making the ones i used for the model. Gilles also found really nice pictures of them also. Should also check those out.

Re: New Part - Lucas C42 Generator
Colin,
As with all the parts you make, love the detail to all the little things. Such as the directional arrow. Like on your wheels, spinners have directional markers! What I like with this, besides all the other detail items you did, is there will be no seam lines where you have to join the 2 ...

Re: Ed's Jaguar - Completed
Hi Chris,
The body is a total loss - it ended up in several pieces, so no reusing it. Luckily, like you, I had gotten a couple of spare parts, so as to experiment to see if I could cutout the rear hatch and hinge it so as to open and close.
Yes I am vary glad I was able to finish it this time, a ...

Ed's Jaguar - Completed
Greetings.
Well, the build is completed. Let me start with, I am happy with how the model turned out, even though I had some problems, which I will tell you about. Also, as compared to the first time I tried to build this, when i was 10-12 years old (thought I was good enough to do it). As I stated ...
