Minor Disaster - (Chris Craddock - Legacy Post)

I spent a couple of hours this morning sanding down the internal structure of the e-type roadster’s tail section, trying to get it to settle onto the lower section so I could finally glue it down. It’s tedious. You look for where it’s rocking, or sitting up and then you go reduce that spot. And repeat and repeat.

It’s cracked!
I filled the crack with some clear CA glue. I’ll have to smooth and sand, and then re-prime that area. But the good news is that it’s pretty much sitting level where I want to, so with a big deep breath I could finally glue the tail onto the rest of the body. I will probably wait until I have sorted out the mess I made, just in case I need to do more rework.
