With a bit of plastic, plasticard and metal washers I made a wiper motor to replace that of the model.

I also decided to detail the servo brake with the master cylinders.

A small aluminum sheet 0.5mm thick, some washers of two different sizes, plasticard, screws...



Once the sheet metal is bent and the washers stacked, placed in place:





Start of the production of master cylinders: two tubes threaded one into the other and drilled to connect the pipes:

I notice that the servo brake is too small, so I will redo one with larger washers (it’s the one installed under the firewall)

In an aluminum bar measuring 10x20mm, cut it with a handsaw.

and setting up a trial. The reason why some parts are not aligned is that everything is not definitively fixed.

Yes. Colin has done nicer front faces for the footwells, but there’s a wide open seam around the footwells between the firewall and the floor pan. I have filled and smoothed mine, but I’m still not particularly happy with the finish. I will probably tinker with it some more before seating the engine and front cradle.

ok, I understood. The translator is sometimes fanciful..
And I agree with you, there is a wide open seam.
I am waiting for parts from Colin to make progress on this problem

The heating valve I made seemed too big to me, so I redid a smaller one: the washers simulating the servo brake were covered with a thermo-retractable sheath Although it's not finished yet, it's starting to take shape.

Gilles, what kind of drill bits do you use for drilling the brass tubing?

Hi Ed,
These are metal drill bits that I find at specialized dealers.
Here, in France, I find it that goes from 0.3mm to 1.2mm for the small black box and from 1.3mm to 2.5mm for the large one. The blue box goes from 0.3mm to 1.6mm.
But the most important thing is to have a bench drill press. Mine is equipped with a micro compound table that allows more precision.
