Just thought I would post a couple pictures of Colin's wheels the Jaguar XKE, a couple different view angles. I think Colin did a really good job in making these, the detail is really nice. Even have little valve stems for them. I used Spaz Stix glossy black primer and the Spaz Stix chrome paint. I think they came out okay. Colin even "marked' the wheels for either the front or rear.

Re: "Thar be Wheels"
Looking good Ed. Like seeing my babies come to life!
Nice to see them painted up. The paint has come up very nice as well. Did that take a few coats to achieve, primed in black, or some different method.
As I say, I never get to build but I'm interested in how the results are achieved.

The primer is a super glossy black that really goes on nice. I liked it so much that I used it on a couple of pieces that attach to the engine and the fan housing in the engine compartment. The chrome you have to be very careful/light with. Want dusting coats, and not too many. Way to easy to go silver and not chrome. The silver is nice but not when it supposed to be chrome.

Colin’s wheels seem incredibly realistic, I can’t wait to receive mine.
You have perfectly succeeded in the painting, ED. The result is magnificent!
